The story of a nation

Three days through Jewish heritage

If your time is limited, a three-day Jewish Heritage tour is the perfect way in. It covers the major sites tied to the history of the State of Israel and the Jewish people — from the War of Independence and the Old City of Jerusalem, to Masada and the Dead Sea, to the birthplace of modern Tel Aviv.

On the Burma Road to Jerusalem Day 1

On the “Burma Road” to Jerusalem

Ascend to Jerusalem along the historic route of 1948, then walk into the living heart of the Old City.

  • The 1948 “Burma Road” — the battles of Sha’ar HaGai in the War of Independence
  • A walking tour of the Jewish Quarter — its main historical sites and its atmosphere today
  • The Western Wall plaza — join the prayers, with a virtual presentation of the area in Temple times
  • Time permitting: the City of David and its major finds from the biblical era
  • In the evening: the Tower of David night spectacular (optional)
🌙 Overnight · Jerusalem
Masada & the Dead Sea Day 2

Reach Masada & the Dead Sea

Descend to the lowest place on earth and climb the fortress that witnessed one of history’s great dramas.

  • Drive to the Dead Sea — optional stop at the “Sea Level” sign and a short camel ride
  • Masada — the wealth of remains and the tragic last stand of the Jewish rebels
  • Authentic kibbutz lunch at Ein Gedi, with a stroll in its famous botanical gardens
  • Alternatively: lunch and a float experience at a Dead Sea hotel
  • Qumran — a view of the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found
  • Time permitting: how biblical tekhelet was made, at the unique Tekhelet workshop
🌙 Overnight · Jerusalem or Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv & Jaffa Day 3

Explore Tel Aviv & Jaffa

From the hall where the State was declared to the alleys of old Jaffa — the making of a modern metropolis.

  • Independence Hall on Rothschild Boulevard, where the State of Israel was declared
  • Rothschild Boulevard — how Tel Aviv grew into Israel’s metropolis
  • Old Jaffa — its rich history, scenic alleys and art galleries
  • The Flea Market — a lunch break and a chance to find rare vintage treasures
  • The Rabin Assassination site, where the prime minister was shot in 1995
  • Time permitting: the Palmach Museum, the ANU Museum, or the “Squadron” jet-fighter simulator

Sites marked “time permitting” are optional and depend on the day, season and opening hours. Your private guide will tailor the route to your group.

“Three days that connect the whole story — from the Western Wall to Masada to Independence Hall. History you can stand inside.”
